Gemstone Cabochons

Give dune beads' cabochon a try. The gemstone cabochon has a polished convex top with a flat bottom and no hole. It is up to you to glue it on a metal support or to be creative with seed beads. You can make this project as easy and simple as you want, but it will always be uniquely you.

To bezel a cabochon with peyote:

• you need Delica 0/11, a backing, glue, a needle #12 and scissors
• the number of beads corresponds to 2.5 times the circumference 
  so, for a round shape of 16 mm as well as for an oval of 13x18 mm that will be 40 beads
• you always use an even number of beads
